A major natural gas explosion destroyed a house in Hayward, California, leaving six people injured. The incident, which occurred after firefighters had previously visited the property, caused significant damage to at least three buildings in the area.

The powerful blast was directly caused by a gas line leak. Three of the six injured individuals sustained serious wounds and required immediate medical attention following the explosion and subsequent fire.

According to the Alameda County Fire Department, crews were called back to the scene after initially responding to the property earlier in the day. The force of the house explosion resulted in substantial structural damage to multiple properties.
